I was born in Summersville, West Virginia in 1965, that would make me 35 now.  Being raised in the moutains of WV is probably the cause of my love for music today.  I remember many, many nights of Bonfires & old moutain people gathering to tell Folk Stories and play music.  My Mom & Dad bought me my first guitar when I was 9 years old.  Mom taught me 3 chords and I used to sit and practice & practice.

I played football all through Jr. High and High School.  I was West Virgina All State High School running back in 1980.

The hardest part of my life is when my Father died of Kidney failure when I was 15, which was very tough on us.  It is very hard to support a family in WV on one income, so my Mom, older brother, younger sister and myself had to move away so Mom could find good enough work to take care of us alone.  We ended up in Elizabeth City, NC and from there to Fayetteville, NC.

Fayetteville is where I met my wife, Tatia.   We were married in December of 1990.  She already had a son, Chase from a previous marriage.  From Fayetteville, we moved to Charlotte.  We didn't like the big City so we moved to High Point, NC where we've lived since 1992.  We joined Peace Christian Church last year and I've been a member of the music team for about 6 months now.
