Exodus 15:2 says "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." This part of scripture says alot about how being a part of the worship team makes me feel. As a singer of the worship team, I take pride in the fact that I have been given a voice to use to worship and glorify God. God has been my strength and my song and is my only hope for my Salvation. When I sing, I am expressing myself in a way that I cannot always express in words. Singing is a passion that I have always had, but until about 2 years ago, I had hidden away and I cannot say just how much it has meant to me since then. I have attended Peace Christian Church since 1995 and have become an active member since then. I am currently involved in a small group and help out with the Youth Group. Otherwise, on a more personal note, I did grow up here in High Point, NC and I am an only child. I have an Associate Degree in Pre-Liberal Arts from GTCC and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from High Point University. I am employed by North State Telephone Co. as a Furniture Market Representative. I do have alot of goals for myself in the future. One of those goals does include growing even more in my relationship with God, along with learning more ways to share with others about God. I also intend on growing as a singer on the Worship team, and just as Peace Christian Church grows, I hope that I can play a key role in leading others to Christ. Being a part of the Worship team has changed my life in many ways and has helped me to have a more expressive relationship with God. I know I still have so much more to learn, but no one can take away all the things that I have learned so far and what they mean to me.
