Warren Cramer,
vocalist. Worship has always been a big part of my relationship with Christ. I've been praising Him in Song for as long as I can remember. Some of my best memories-times when I've felt closest to God-are from my youth, when I went to camp with my Church's youth group. Some nights, we'd spend one to two hours just praising God-hands lifted up, tears running down our faces. Since then, I've been on a couple of Church choirs and even a traveling musical (that was a lot of fun!). Music allows me-all of us-to open up to God, to pour our hearts out to Him, while He fills it with his Holy Spirit. Even though I love to praise my Lord and Savior, when on stage I often get nervous and feel myself holding back for fear of how I sound-especially if I see a blank face or two looking back at me. However, someone recently taught me that my job on stage is simply to deliver God's message of love, hope, peace, grace and salvation through the music I sing. Or, as this person put it, I need to "Deliver the Mail". One in Him has since adopted that phrase, and it has become our group's motto. I have been wiht Peace since January of '99 and part of One in Him since November of that same year. By day, I work as a computer technician for ComputerNet Resource Group. "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks." (John 4:23) |
